Originating in Mount Barker in 1978, the Wine Show of Western Australia will be held in the week after school holidays in October 2021
Beginning in 1978 as part of the Mount Barker and Districts Agricultural Show, the Wine Show of Western Australia has grown to become a separate and distinguished event which annually determines the best of Western Australian wines. From only six classes in 1978, the show grew to 43 classes and 21 trophies. In 2018 we revised the schedule and presented 24 trophies across 39 classes. In 2020 during the height of the corona-virus pandemic we made a decision to cancel the show, but in late June the situation changed and we decided we could present a smaller show, using two panels of WA based judges. We are pleased to announce that Portavin have joined with us to be our major sponsor.
